At Techloaded247, we put all of the top smartphones to the test to see what they’re capable of, and we look for the best models available. We separated this list into groups based on numerous signature attributes and budgets to find the top Android phones. We present our best option and any alternatives we think are worth mentioning for each budget range. Because of its excellent camera, stunning screen display, and long battery life, we chose the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra as the finest Android phone.
1. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a long-lasting phone. With flat end caps, angular lines, and squared-off corners, it’s all business — not the nicest design or the easiest to handle, but robust. It’s one of the heaviest smartphones on the market, weighing in at 228 grammes, yet there’s true beauty in the brutalism, and despite that, it’s attractive and sleek.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s large screen is stunning, with vibrant colours, deep blacks, and multimedia capabilities like HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos. The chassis is made of the same Armor Aluminum aluminium as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, along with Gorilla Glass Victus+. The 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel offers a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels, with a peak brightness of 1,750 nits. For an exceptional lifespan, Samsung promises four Android version updates and five years of security patches.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra includes an S Pen pen that fits into a storage slot on the phone’s bottom, allowing you to take neat, handwritten notes using the stylus and the screen. The camera lenses are situated individually in the back panel in a beautiful, minimalist design, rather than being merged as in the previous generation. With a new, adjustable portrait mode and a selection of adaptable high-quality optical zoom settings, as well as the primary and wide cameras, the camera creates gorgeous photographs with brilliant colours and balance.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor powers it. The cheapest model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, but no MicroSD card slot. The phone’s battery capacity is 5,000mAh, and Samsung has integrated support for 45-watt rapid charging (block not included in the package).
The 8GB/128GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra costs $1,199. The MSRP for a 12GB/256GB model is $1,299, $1,399 for a 12GB/512GB model, and $1,599 for the top 12GB/1TB model.
2. OnePlus 9 Pro 5G
OnePlus has done it again with the OnePlus 9 Pro. It combines the most up-to-date hardware, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with 5G and up to 12GB of RAM, with a large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, in a water-resistant metal and glass casing, for a fantastic overall product.

With a cable connection, it takes 28 minutes to fully recharge, or roughly 45 minutes using the OnePlus’s proprietary fast wireless charging stand, which is a lot faster than most other wireless chargers. Battery life isn’t the best, but it’ll get you through the day if you don’t overuse it playing games.
When it comes to photography, Hasselblad is known as one of the world’s most renowned photo experts, and their work on the OnePlus 9 Pro’s camera software has resulted in remarkable results.
You can choose between an 8GB/128GB variant or a 12GB/256GB model. Because there is no microSD card slot on this phone, more capacity is welcomed, but if you are content with cloud storage, you may save money and get the 8GB/128GB OnePlus 9 Pro instead.
Overall dependability is something we have grown to expect and appreciate in OnePlus phones, and it’s present in spades on the OnePlus 9 Pro. In addition to the sleek, easy-to-use software, the phone’s attractive style, sensible size and fast charging make it an absolutely safe choice and one that will last you years.
3. Samsung Galaxy A52 5G
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, the company has pulled off a remarkable feat: it performs nearly everything you might want, looks great doing it, and costs less than $400. There’s a nice feel to the plastic casing, and the moulded camera module looks well with the 6.5-inch AMOLED screen. The 120Hz refresh rate is ideal for smooth scrolling.

Photos taken with the five cameras on the phone’s back are excellent, with lots of colour and a strong HDR effect, making them perfect for sharing on social media without a lot of tinkering around. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor and running on Android 11, it’s up-to-date, fast, and ready for the future. Even if you spend a lot of time playing games, the two-day battery life is still impressive.
Waterproofing, microSD card support, and a 3.5mm headphone port aren’t even on the list. The Galaxy A52 5G has everything you need, and it’s a great value at this price point, as well. Read more; Realme GT Neo 3 Review: 150W Fast-Charging
4. Moto G Power (2021)
There will always be compromises to be made when purchasing a new smartphone for under $200; it will never be as technically advanced as a phone that costs more. The Moto G Power’s 5,000mAh battery, which can last for two days without recharging, is one of the best reasons to buy the phone.

The 6.6-inch screen is very large, and the software doesn’t have any bothersome “features” or unnecessary clutter. There’s a base model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that costs somewhere between $200 and $300. With a little more scratch, you can obtain as much RAM and storage as you like. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor is capable of playing most games.
Why aren’t we done yet? This phone has a 720p screen, no NFC for Google Pay, and a mediocre camera. Despite these limitations, the Moto G Power (2021) is still capable of doing all of your typical phone-related duties.
5. Google Pixel 5a 5G
If you’re on a tight budget, but still want a phone with top-notch camera hardware and software performance, Google’s Pixel A-Series is the right choice. There are 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in the Pixel 5a 5G’s conventional candy-bar design, which is made of smooth black plastic with rounded edges.

In addition to a 3.5mm headphone jack, the 6.34-inch, 2400 x 1080 resolution OLED screen has a hole-punch selfie camera at the top right, a fast fingerprint sensor on the rear, and an in-cell display. The display’s aspect ratio is 20:9, and its pixel density is 413 pixels per inch (ppi). In terms of battery life, you’ll get about a day and a half to two days of normal use out of the 4,680mAh cell. One of the best camera systems we’ve ever encountered. With a 117-degree field of view, this camera has a 12.2MP primary sensor and a 16MP ultrawide camera.
