There’s been a lot of buzz around Microsoft’s Surface Pro 8 since it was unveiled lately.
The Surface Pro 8 finally delivers several important upgrades, including a larger display and Thunderbolt compatibility, after sticking with the same fundamental design since the Surface Pro 4. If you’ve been on the fence about upgrading, now appears to be the time to do it.

Several new features make the Surface Pro 8 a significant update. With a 13-inch screen, this is a significant upgrade over the previous models’ 12.3-inch screen. With a 120Hz refresh rate, animations and transitions look more smoother on this 13-inch display. Additionally, because of the variable refresh rate, it helps preserve battery life while the screen is not in use. The screen is also brighter and has better resolution.
Additionally, it contains two Thunderbolt connectors for the first time on a Surface device, despite Microsoft’s refusal to employ Thunderbolt in favor of the Surface Connect port. That means you don’t have to worry about Thunderbolt docks not being compatible with other devices, making it easier than ever to extend the ports on your Surface Pro 8. If you already have a Surface Dock, you can still use the Surface Connect port.
For those who prefer a more business-oriented Surface Pro 7+, the 11th-generation Intel Core processor and portable storage are also included. Other than that, the Surface Pro 4 has the same storage and RAM options as prior versions, going up to 1TB. That all adds up to make this one of the greatest Surface PCs to date. It has a higher beginning price of $1,099, but that’s because it has considerably superior specifications at the base level, as well.
There are numerous benefits to purchasing the Surface Pro 8 due to the significant update. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best retailers that carry it.
Amazon
Our go-to online retailer of choice for a wide range of products, including the Surface Pro 8, is Amazon. On sale for $100 off its regular price through this link, it’s even more appealing.
In addition to the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard, Amazon exclusively sells the Surface Slim Pen 2 separately. There is a $30 discount for the Signature Keyboard and the Surface Slim Pen 2 is in line with Microsoft’s advertised MSRP.
Adorama
This is an excellent site to get the Surface Pro 8 for the same price as Microsoft’s official list. You may have to wait for a long for some models that are only available for preorder.
If you desire a more laptop-like experience with the Surface Pro 8, you may purchase the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard with the Slim Pen 2:
The Surface Pro Signature Keyboard allows you to use your Surface Pro 8 or Pro X as a more standard laptop, and the Slim Pen 2 allows you to draw or take notes manually with haptic feedback.

Best Buy
The Surface Pro 8 is available for purchase at Best Buy, which is where many of us purchase our devices. In keeping with Microsoft’s pricing, the tablet starts at $1,099 with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.
The Surface Pro Signature Keyboard and Surface Slim Pen 2 package is also available, however it appears to be unavailable at the time of this writing. There is a $20 discount on the Surface Pro Signature Keyboard if you buy it here. The Surface Slim Pen 2 can be purchased separately.
B&H
B&H Photo is a well-known electronics and camera retailer, and the Surface Pro 8 is available there as well. The price matches Microsoft’s official retail price.
The Surface Pro Signature Keyboard and Surface Slim Pen 2 are also available for purchase at B&H Photo, but they are classified as pre-orders at the time of this writing.
Microsoft
You may also buy Microsoft products at the Microsoft Store, of course. The Surface Pro 8 is currently on sale, and you can easily add a keyboard and pen if you like. Microsoft may offer a wider range of options than other shops.
Newegg
On the good side, Newegg sells the Surface Pro 8 mostly through third-party retailers, although the prices are lower. There’s currently a $150 discount on a model that has 16GB of RAM and has a 1TB hard drive.
On Newegg, only third-party sellers sell Microsoft’s Surface Pro Signature Keyboard and Surface Slim Pen 2. However, these items are often cheaper than Microsoft’s official pricing. The bundle with both items is currently unavailable. Although it’s now more expensive than Microsoft’s MSRP, the Surface Slim Pen 2 is also available separately from the keyboard.
