Icebergify is a new open-source web app that sorts users’ favorite artists into a chart that looks like an iceberg. It does this by using data from Spotify.
Icebergify is a new open-source tool that organizes a user’s favorite artists in a chart that looks like an iceberg. It gets this information from the user’s Spotify listening habits. Icebergify, which was made by developer Akshay Raj, looks at the top 50 artists a Spotify user has listened to over the past month to several years. Then, it sorts them by how well-known or unknown they are overall. It will put the most popular artists, like Eminem or Taylor Swift, at the top of the iceberg, while Antichrist Siege Machine or Sunstroke Project will be at the bottom.
Spotify, which started in 2008, is the biggest music streaming service in the world, ahead of Apple Music. The company says it has 422 million users, 182 million of whom are subscribers, in 183 markets around the world. Along with 82 million audio tracks, the platform has more than four million podcasts. Some of them, like Joe Rogan Experience, are very controversial. Spotify has a free tier with ads and a paid premium tier that gives users access to features like better sound quality, music that can be played on-demand, offline, and without ads.
Users need to go to the Icebergify website and click the “Create Yours” button in order to make a Spotify Iceberg chart. Sign in to your Spotify account on the next page. Users will have to give Icebergify permission to use their Spotify data to make the chart once they have logged in. After that, the site will put the artists into groups based on how popular they are and show the iceberg chart. On a PC or Mac, right-click on the image and save it like you normally would. To get to the “Save” option on a mobile device, press and hold on to the image. Once the image is saved on a computer or phone, it can be shared on social media just like any other jpeg image. Issues With Creating An Iceberg
Some users are upset that they can’t make Iceberg chats even though they have full access to the website. The site’s developer seems to be aware of these problems and tells users to “keep refreshing the page until the iceberg appears.” If that doesn’t work after several tries, the developer suggests that users clear their cookies and site data for icebergify.com and try again. If nothing else works, try a different device to see if that does the trick. Read Also; How to Find Your Friends on Facebook and How to Recover Your Account
Icebergify says that the popularity rankings of the artists are based on a number of things, including the total number of streams, likes, shares, saves, and followers. The developer says that all of the artists in someone’s iceberg are people they have listened to on Spotify at some point. Overall, Icebergify is a cool web app that any Spotify user can use to find out how popular their favorite artists are on the service.
