The Sony SRS-NS7 is said to be the world’s first wireless neckband speakers that work with Dolby Atmos.

In India on Wednesday, Sony SRS-NB10 and SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speakers, as well as Sony WLA-NS7 wireless transmitters, were made available for people to buy and use. The audio products are meant to make it easier to work from home and watch movies at home. On the go, Sony SRS-NB10 lets people take calls and listen to music. Sony says the SRS-NS7 speakers come with Dolby Atmos so that when they’re used with the WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter, they can sound like they’re in a movie theater. They also work with Sony WF-1000XM3, Sony WH-1000XM4 and WF 1000xm3, as well as WF 1000xm2 and WF 1000xm3.

It costs Rs. 11,990 for Sony SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speakers and Rs. 22,990 for Sony SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speakers in India. The Sony WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter costs Rs. 5,690 and can be bought from Sony Center, Amazon, ShopAtSC, and major electronic stores across India starting January 24, Sony says.

Sony SRS-NB10 wireless neckband speakers specifications

Sony SRS-NB10 speakers have a full-range speaker unit that has built-in passive radiators to make the bass sound better. Because the speakers are made for online meetings when working from home or at the office, Sony says they’re good for those kinds of things They have Precise Voice Pickup Technology, which is two high-quality directional microphones and advanced audio processing. They have a microphone mute button, touch-sensitive volume rocker, and play/pause button. Sony SRS-NB10 neckband speakers also have a microphone mute button. Playback time is said to last up to 20 hours on one charge, and they can be charged through USB Type-C ports. A quick charge can give you up to an hour of playback time, according to the company. A water-resistant rating of IPX4 means that the Sony SRS-NB10 is safe to use in the water.

Sony’s SRS-NB10 neckband speakers have Dolby Atmos and the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app, which make them sound like they’re in the middle of a movie. Sony also says that the SRS-NS7 is the world’s first wireless neckband speakers that work with Sony’s BRAVIA XR models. This app takes pictures of your ears and looks at your hearing abilities to give you “a truly personalized experience.”

It’s best to connect a Sony wireless transmitter to the TV with an optical cable and USB cable. Then connect the Sony SRS-NS7 neckband speaker to the transmitter via Bluetooth to get the best sound. Dolby Atmos isn’t the only thing these speakers have. They also have an X-Balanced Speaker Unit that looks up and a passive radiator for clear bass.

It is said that the Sony SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speakers can play for up to 12 hours on one charge. They can also be used for a maximum of 5 hours at the loudest setting. If you use a USB Type-C port to charge them quickly, you can get up to an hour of play time. Each of these speakers has a water-resistance level of IPX4.
