The freshly released battle royale game by Krafton, PUBG: New State, is getting an update that increases anti-cheating mechanisms. The update is presently trickling out to Android users, with the developer stating that iOS players will receive it soon.
Players will be unable to play PUBG: New State unless they have the newest update loaded on their devices. As part of this update, Krafton has also revealed a special reward for players.

PUBG: New State will not work on Android smartphones unless players update the game, according to Krafton in a blog post. If the game is not updated, users will be sent to the Google Play Store or the Samsung Galaxy Store. Players will receive three Chicken Medals as a reward for downloading this update. It’s worth mentioning that iOS gamers — or Survivors, as the game refers to them — will get the update shortly because it’s presently in the works.
This is the first of several updates that PUB: New State will make to improve anti-cheating mechanisms. These procedures are aimed at detecting and limiting the use of cheating techniques by gamers. Players risk being banned if they are caught utilizing unethical or hacking methods while playing the game.
PUBG: New State was released on November 11 in over 200 countries, including India, for Android, iOS, and iPadOS devices. It’s the most recent installment in the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) series. It promises to deliver a next-generation battle royale experience, with 100 people fighting with a variety of weapons and methods.
PUBG: New State has surpassed one million downloads on the Google Play store in less than a week after its release. Updated graphics, a new Troi terrain, and new vehicles are included in the latest PUBG release, which is set in the future.
PUBG: New State Brings the Brand Back to India
Last week, PUBG: New State, a new battle royale game from PUBG and PUBG Mobile publisher Krafton, was released, promising gamers a “next-generation” experience.
PUBG Studios was also chosen by the South Korean publisher to produce PUBG: New State. The studio previously shown its work on the PC and console versions of PUBG: Battlegrounds. But, in order to compete with PUBG: New State in India, Krafton has already released Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).
On this week’s episode of the Gadgets 360 podcast Orbital, host Akhil Arora talks about PUBG: New State with Deputy Video Head Cyrus John and Video Editor Robin John, and how it differs from BGMI.

PUBG: New State’s gameplay is quite similar to PUBG Mobile and BGMI, despite the fact that it is set in 2051. Nonetheless, the game introduces new weapons as well as future vehicles such as electric automobiles and drones.
In some aspects, it resembles the compressed version of PUBG on PC, which was released in 2017. The graphics in PUBG: New State have been upgraded, using more resources from your phone. However, Krafton has not specified any specific minimum hardware requirements for the game, and it appears to be compatible with all smartphones running Android 6.0, iOS 13, or iPadOS 13 on paper.
The release of PUBG: New State comes little over a year after the Indian government banned the mobile version of the game. It also debuted barely a few months after Krafton decided to bring back its battle royale experience for Indian gamers in the shape of BGMI — which was PUBG Mobile — in the form of PUBG Mobile.
To differentiate itself from the original PUBG Mobile, PUBG Studios has replaced China’s Tencent Games as the game’s developer. However, additions such as the game’s age verification process have not addressed the criticisms leveled at the previous edition.

Shortly after the game’s release, some gamers reported experiencing lags when playing PUBG: New State. However, the publisher released an update earlier this week to address some of the known vulnerabilities.
PUBG: New State has also surpassed one crore downloads on Google Play in less than a week since its release. This points to the game’s early popularity, which follows the success of PUBG Mobile and BGMI.
However, gamers without powerful hardware or those who have already converted their profiles from PUBG Mobile are unlikely to abandon BGMI in favor of PUBG: New State anytime soon.
We go over some of the reasons why gamers would continue with BGMI despite the fact that PUBG: New State offers a better experience. We also discuss how PUBG: New State opens up new business prospects for gaming-focused mobile devices.
