When the POCO F1 was announced, it caused a stir in the Android smartphone industry. POCO’s F-series smartphones include pro-grade specifications, luxury construction, a good camera, and more for a not-so-shocking price. The POCO F4 GT is the company’s fourth iteration F-series smartphone, with the goal of once again conquering the mid-range Android market. Read on to learn everything there is to know about the new POCO F4 GT.
POCO F4 GT: Display and Design
The POCO F4 GT is a smartphone for “young techies” and gamers. It has one of the best displays on an Android smartphone. The POCO F4 GT has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that is flat and has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It can run at 120Hz and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. They say the F4 GT’s screen also has 10-bit TrueColor, which allows it to show a wide range of colours that are close to how they look in real life, even in low-light situations.

Other things about the screen include a 480Hz touch sampling rate. For those who don’t know, the touch sampling rate is the number of times a screen refreshes itself in a second so that a user’s touch input can be read. The higher the number, the more responsive a screen looks like it is. Because this phone is made for gamers, the 480Hz touch sampling rate will appeal to people who want to buy it.
Regarding how it looks, the POCO F4 GT and Redmi K50G look a lot alike. Because the POCO F4 GT is a rebranded Redmi K50G, the main difference between the two phones is that the POCO F4 GT has a different name. This isn’t a deal-breaker because the phone looks pretty cool. The Cyber Yellow, in particular, is a real eye-catcher.

POCO F4 GT: Cameras
The POCO F4 GT comes with three cameras. The cameras here aren’t excellent because this is a gaming-focused phone, but they’re good enough for normal-to-moderate use. The back camera has a 4MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. As an alert, you can use the rear camera module’s RGB lighting to show you what’s going on. The POCO F4 GT has a 20MP selfie camera on the front. It’s in the cutout that looks like a punch hole.

One of the best things about the phone is that it has magnetic triggers on the side of the phone. As soon as you start playing a game on your POCO F4 GT, these triggers are hidden from view. The magnetic triggers can also be set up to control the camera, turn on the flashlight, and record your screen.

Smartphones can overheat if used for long periods or used for gaming. POCO has developed a dedicated cooling solution dubbed LiquidCool Technology 3.0 for the POCO F4 GT to overcome this problem. The 4,860mm2 dual VC cooling system keeps high temperatures low, allowing users to play games for more extended periods.
It also comes with an L-shaped USB-C cable included in the box. When using your smartphone in landscape mode, the L-shape allows you to continue playing games. According to the manufacturer, the phone also consists of a CyberEngine vibration motor, which should provide excellent vibration feedback and haptics. Processor, Battery, and more
The POCO F4 GT is powered by a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in this case, just as the previous-gen F-series smartphones. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on the POCO F4 GT, when combined with POCO’s LiquidCool Technology 3.0, gives excellent CPU and GPU performance. This Snapdragon processor is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and internal storage through UFS 3.1. For POCO, MIUI 13 is the operating system (based on Android 12)

A large and powerful 4,700 mAh battery powers the POCO F4 GT. ACCORDING TO THE FIRM, the F4 GT is the first POCO smartphone to enable 120W HyperCharge rapid charging. The smartphone may be fully charged in just 17 minutes, thanks to the 120W rapid charging technology. POCO has considered users who are concerned about battery health in addition to providing fast charging. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone has AdaptiveCharge technology, which protects the battery from overcharging, particularly in the vital 80 percent to 100 percent charge zone throughout the night.
