The winner of the OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 10 Pro battle will rely on your needs and your price range now that OnePlus has increased the number of flagship phones in its lineup.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has already made a name for itself as one of the greatest Android smartphones and top smartphones in general because of its fast CPU, quick charging, powerful cameras, and stunning display. The OnePlus 10T, on the other hand, adopts a different strategy, reducing the amount of photography and display technology in favor of boosting performance and charging speed even further. Additionally, it starts far less than most high-end smartphones, including the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Our comparison of each phone’s important features should be helpful if you’re having trouble deciding which one you need or just want to learn more about the OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 10 Pro differences. But if you decide you need to look at devices besides what OnePlus has to offer, have a look at our comparisons of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the OnePlus 10 Pro to the iPhone 13 Pro Max to see what your other options might be.

OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 10 Pro: Price
The OnePlus 10 Pro is already available for purchase in the US and the UK for £799 or a recently reduced $799. Although the pricing of the OnePlus 10 Pro is already competitive for a flagship device, the 10T is much more affordable, with prices beginning at $649/£629 instead. It’s challenging to compare that price to those of other premium flagship phones, but you can’t contest the $150 you’d save by choosing the 10T over the 10 Pro.
The OnePlus 10T is available for pre-order in the UK and will be available on August 25. Pre-orders for the 10T won’t start until September 1; sales won’t start until September 29. This means that American buyers will have to wait longer.
OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 10 Pro: Design
The 10T and 10 Pro are very similar to one another. The 10 Pro has curved display sides while the 10T has flat ones, but both 6.7-inch phones are virtually the same size and shape.
By comparing the exact specifications, we can observe that the 10 Pro is a tiny bit thinner and lighter than the 10T. However, neither phone feels uncomfortable in hand, so you shouldn’t let the slight variation in inches and ounces significantly affect your choice.

The placement of the selfie cameras on the front of the two phones differs. On the 10T, it is positioned in the center; on the 10 Pro, it is tucked into the left corner.
Turning the phones over, the camera bumps are identical from a distance but distinct up close. On the 10 Pro, the bump is made of glossy metal, whereas on the 10T, it is etched with a radial pattern. The flash is located differently on each phone. On the 10 Pro, the hump and the back are separated by a thin lip that flows into the side rail. The 10T does not connect with the side rail as it gradually curves from the bump towards the main rear panel.
Both phones are available in green or black, but there are two quite different shades of each. While Moonstone Black on the 10T has a matte finish that resembles a rock, Volcanic Black on the OnePlus 10 Pro has a soft matte finish. Jade Green is a milder shade with a glossy finish, while Emerald Forest employs the same matte texture as Volcanic Black on the OnePlus 10 Pro. Read Also; Samsung S23 – Everything We Know So Far
OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 10 Pro: Display
Both the OnePlus 10T and the 10 Pro have 6.7-inch screens, but the screen on the 10 Pro is superior in two important aspects.
The 10 Pro, as opposed to the 10T, has a higher QHD resolution, resulting in images with greater detail. Second, the 10 Pro features LTPO 2.0 technology to achieve a fully adaptable 120Hz refresh rate. To conserve battery life, the refresh rate decreases to 1Hz while screen activity is static.
The 10T also boasts an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, but its LTPS panel can only reduce it to 90Hz or 60Hz. The two displays should appear equally fluid when scrolling through social media feeds or web pages, but you won’t save quite as much power when viewing static photos on your screen.

OnePlus 10T | OnePlus 10 Pro
sRGB (%) | 179.6 (vivid) / 127.7 (natural) | 173.6 (vivid) / 119 (natural) |
DCI-P3 (%) | 127.2 (vivid) / 90.5 (natural) | 123 (vivid) / 84.3 (natural) |
Delta-E (lower is better) | 0.31 (vivid) / 0.21 (natural) | 0.32 (vivid) / 0.23 (natural) |
Max brightness (nits) | 727 nits | 734 nits |
The OnePlus 10T boasts a slightly more vibrant and accurate color display than the OnePlus 10 Pro, according to measurements taken while testing both devices. The 10 Pro, however, nearly outshines the 10T in terms of brightness.
OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 10 Pro: Cameras
Regarding photography, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a sizable advantage over the 10T. That goes for the sensor and the fine-tuning of those sensors, which was done in collaboration with the Hasselblad photography company.
A 48MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera with selectable 150-degree/fish-eye capabilities, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3.3x optical zoom are all located on the back of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Lastly, there is a 32MP selfie camera.
The OnePlus 10T’s cameras are passable but not up to par. On the rear of the latest OnePlus phone are a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. Read More; Motorola X30 Pro: Everything you need to know

In these comparisons, the differences are clear. We can see that the OnePlus 10 Pro gives more realistic colors, capturing the warmth of the late-afternoon sun that the 10T seems to miss when we use the main cameras to capture a photo facing east along the River Thames from the Golden Jubilee Bridges.
The difference is less noticeable in this selfie in portrait mode. Both phones have excellent bokeh, but I like the coloring on the 10 Pro better. In the 10T’s photo, I appear overly pink.
The OnePlus 10 Pro decisively defeats the OnePlus 10T in terms of photography because to differences in resolution, sensor sizes, and camera types. Megapixels alone do not always translate into better cameras.
OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 10 Pro: Performance
The OnePlus 10T can compete against the OnePlus 10 Pro in this category. The 10T features a more advanced, more powerful Snapdragon 8 With Gen 1 CPU and a higher maximum RAM of 16GB (plus a normal 8GB variant). Read Also; Google Pixel 6a vs. Pixel 6 vs. Pixel 6 Pro?
Offering either 8GB or 12GB RAM and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, the 10 Pro is still pretty strong. As you can see in the chart below, benchmark scores aren’t nearly as excellent without Plus, but the OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t lag behind the 10T by much. In fact, it outperformed the 10T when it came to transcoding a movie in Adobe Premiere Rush, a test of real-world speed.
OnePlus 10T | OnePlus 10 Pro
Geekbench 5 (single / multicore) | 1,025/ 3,476 | 995 / 3,482 |
3DMark Wild Life Unlimited (Score / FPS) | 10,997 / 66 | 10,221 / 61 |
3DMark Wild Life Unlimited (Score / FPS) | 2,752 / 16 | 2574 / 15 |
Adobe Premiere Rush video transcode time (Mins:Secs) | 1:05 | 1:02 |
The basic storage for both phones is 128GB, with 256GB available for an additional cost. There should still be enough space for everyone even though neither phone supports microSD cards or offers additional storage.
Battery and charging
Due to different voltages in the U.S., the OnePlus 10T’s 150W standard reduces to 125W, making it the fastest charging device available. The 10T can charge its 4,800 mAh battery from 0% to 100% in 20 minutes when using its 150W mode or from 0% to 100% in 24 minutes when using its 125W mode.
The 10 Pro delivers 80W and 65W charging in the UK and the US, respectively. In 30 minutes, that fills the phone to 98% and 93%, respectively. Even if that is slower than the 10T, it is still quite rapid, especially considering the larger 5,000 mAh battery in the 10 Pro.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a longer battery life, although the difference isn’t that great. On TG’s unique battery test, which entails continuously scrolling through webpages at 150 nits of brightness until the battery dies, the 10 Pro could endure 11 hours and 52 minutes in full 120Hz mode. With the same settings, the OnePlus 10T endured for 10 hours and 59 minutes. The OnePlus 10T narrowly misses out on a spot on our ranking of phones with the best battery life, thanks to the performance of the 10 Pro.
Support for wireless charging is one more benefit that the OnePlus 10 Pro has over the 10T. With a suitable charger, the 10 Pro can wirelessly charge at up to 50W, which allows you to charge up considerably more quickly than with other phones. A negative point against the 10T is its complete lack of wireless charging, not even the most basic Qi-standard charging.
Outlook
The OnePlus 10 Pro merits the pro moniker because it is an overall superior phone to the OnePlus 10T. For most users, the Pro is the best phone to purchase because it has superior battery life, display, and camera capabilities compared to the T model.
There will be users that favor the 10T, but there aren’t many reasons for that. We list the OnePlus 10T among the best gaming phones, so the added power is beneficial if you enjoy using demanding mobile apps or playing games, and the quick charging time may be crucial if you use your phone frequently throughout the day (although it comes at the expense of wireless charging). The difference in the price of $150 may make the cheaper price more attractive.
Most users are better off choosing the more feature-rich OnePlus 10 Pro, but if you’re loyal to the OnePlus brand and choose wired charging speed and processor performance above superior cameras, battery life, and display, the 10T is still a decent choice.
