The Vice President, Information Technology will be responsible for design, development and implementation of information systems, software applications and IT support and infrastructure systems with a focus on cyber-security across the design. This member of the leadership team will collaborate with business leaders on the transaction, reporting, and analytics tools to scale the business, reduce cycle times and improve the total cost of ownership. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of the business operations as it will help design and implement the end-to-end systems that enable key business solutions such as bundling of SaaS subscription and physical product sales and fulfillment, a marketplace platform, 360-degree view of the customer, omni-channel marketing, and sales, and leading-edge supply chain models. The IT platforms we are developing and evolving must be scalable and flexible, enabling the business to be agile and grow revenues to be over $1 billion. Systems must also be built with an eye on longer-term SOX compliance.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for the leadership and oversight of the core business applications of Tonal (Ecomm, ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, Order Mgmt and Logistics and integration, and BI/DW) and infrastructure with the goal of supporting Tonal’s business objectives
- Efficiently assess and evolve the current IT infrastructure with an emphasis on cyber-security and BI warehousing
- Functions as a member of the management team, is aligned with and promotes values, provides leadership, and participates in establishing and implementing major goals and strategic objectives of the IT group’s objectives, policies, and plans
- Build a highly effective and efficient team that partners will other Tonal leaders on IT projects
- Coordinate and prioritize IT efforts across all departments for highest value
- Organize, plan and direct Tonal’s IT functions based on technology, business function, and geography
- Establishes, implements, and administers IT policies and procedures with a specific view on ITGC
- Responsible for technological innovations and the development of the IT strategic plan
- For the above areas, drive disaster recovery planning and mitigation strategies
- Monitor and drive improvements in technical and processing priorities and methods
- Develop and manage the budget for IT
Who You Are
- Proven IT leader who has demonstrated the ability to design, develop and implement an IT vision for a rapid growth company that requires an integrated systems approach
- Team player who has built teams in the past and been a dedicated partner to the business
- More than 15 years of experience in IT services and operations, preferably in a consumer products company that has omni-channel operations, outsourced partners, and utilizes SaaS-based apps
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or non-related field with equivalent computer science job experience required.
