In this case, the Huawei P50 Pocket is the company’s first foldable smartphone to be made in a clamshell shape. The phone has the same two-ring design as the Huawei P50, with the first ring housing a cover screen and the second ring housing camera sensors. There is a layer on top of the screen called an anti-reflective layer that the company says reduces glare and reflection by as much as 56% over the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The P50 Pocket, like the Moto Razr and the Galaxy Flip 3, has a cover screen that shows important information at a glance. Display widgets, weather information, music controls and more on the 1.04-inch screen. It also shows QR codes and navigations, as well as a lot of other useful information.
CPU, GPU, AND CHIPSET

However, due to the United States embargo on Huawei, the company is unable to use 5G components in their gadget for the time being. CAMERAS
A 40MP main camera with PDAF and Lase AF, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP lens make up the Huawei P50 Pocket’s triple back camera. When it’s fully opened, it also has a 10.7MP selfie camera.

LED flash, HDR, panoramic, PDAF, Lase AF, and gyro-EIS are just a few of the camera’s features. With the gyro-EIS technology, both the rear and front cameras can record up to 4K video.
BUILD AND DISPLAY
The Huawei P50 Pocket has a 1.07-inch cover OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate when folded. The Huawei P50 Pocket has a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate when unfolded.
When you fold the device, there is no gap, and the notification trey is on the back cover display. Missed calls, time, and other short notifications are displayed on the cover display. It has a high build quality and premium materials, however, it is neither water nor dustproof.
BATTERY, RAM, AND STORAGE
There are two RAM and storage options for the Huawei P50 Pocket: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. It contains a microSD card port for storage expansion and a shared SIM card slot.
The P50 Pocket is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. This battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in roughly 60 minutes.
CONNECTIVITY AND SOFTWARE
HarmonyOS 2.0 is pre-installed on the Huawei P50 Pocket. At least two years of software and security fixes are expected for this device.
Google Mobile Services and Google Play Store are not supported on this device. Huawei’s App Gallery is where you can get all of your apps and games.
