Bayonetta 3 was first talked about in 2017, but it hasn’t come out yet. Fans still can’t wait for the next chapter in the adventures of the umbra witch. And after years of little bits of news, Platinum Games has finally given fans a new trailer and a date for the game’s release.
The release date for Bayonetta 3 is set for October 28, 2022. Only the Nintendo Switch will be able to play the game. The graphics look a little old in the first gameplay footage, but the game still runs at 60 frames per second (fps).
Below is everything we know so far about Bayonetta 3.
Bayonetta 3 Release Date
Bayonetta 3 will finally come out on October 28, 2022, a new trailer says. Players will be able to buy either the standard version or the Trinity Masquerade Edition. The standard version can be bought in physical or digital form. This comes with special, reversible covers for both Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2, but not the games themselves.

Bayonetta 3 Trailer
A few trailers for Bayonetta 3 have been released so far. The most recent one, which was shown at the September Nintendo Direct Event, shows gameplay and Bayonetta’s new hairstyle and outfit. In 2017, at The Game Awards, they showed the first trailer, which you can watch below.
In it, Bayonetta’s ribbon floats past a blood-red moon as the main character takes a series of hits from a fiery purple enemy. She shoots back with two new guns, but the attack knocks her down, and that’s about it. Read More; Sniper Elite 5 Review: Another Sure-Fire Hit
The trailer isn’t meant to tell us much about the story or how to play the game. Instead, it should just let us know that the game is being made. In that way, it does what it needs to do.
Bayonetta 3 Gameplay
From the Bayonetta 3 trailers that have come out recently, it looks like the gameplay will be the same as in the first two games. That means there will be a lot of action and a lot of skin on show. The game stays true to its over-the-top style by having Bayonetta make even stranger monsters out of her hair, such as a giant spider and dragon.

Expect Bayonetta to use both melee attacks and guns while juggling enemies. (The new guns she uses in the trailer are called “Whittingham Fair,” which sounds a lot like the “Scarborough Fair” guns from the previous games.) Read Also; Call of Duty Mobile Season 6 2022: All About The Skies
There will probably be new vehicle sections, animal transformations, and Torture Attacks, many of which would require Freud’s entire body of work to understand. The gameplay of Bayonetta 2 didn’t change much from Bayonetta, and we expect the third game to be the same way.
